Mariposa means Butterfly in Spanish and this dress echoes mother natures beauty with its voluminous sleeves and joyful floral embroidery.
The Mariposa Maxi is a loose fitting Mumu style maxi dress with a beautiful balloon sleeve detail and pleated yoke neckline. Can also be worn belted to accentuate the waistline. It comes in 2 colorways, Sage Green and Parchment. The neckline has two fabric ties and the frill hem is detailed in contrast blanket stitching. Each piece has been lovingly hand embroidered by a small women's collective in Thailand, so that all items are one only pieces. We cocreate these incredible dresses in small batches and these are handworked by family industry in the women's own homes.
